The 2022 Golden Vines® Global Online Charity Auction opens for bidding on 1st October
The Golden Vines® Fine Wine, Rare Spirit & Experience Global Online Charity Auction (The Golden Vines® Auction) raises money exclusively for the Gérard Basset Foundation, which funds diversity & inclusion focused educational programmes in the wine, spirits & hospitality sector. Last year’s inaugural Auction featured 74 lots, raising just over £1.2 million for the Foundation. The Golden Vines® Auction is a global online auction in which anyone in the world can bid via an eCatalogue which can be requested now and accessed from the 1st October using the following link: https://liquidicons.com/auction2022
The Foundation’s work includes a large number of Golden Vines® scholarship programmes sponsored by groups like Dom Pérignon, Hennessy Cognac, Artémis Domaines, the Brooklyn Nets & the New York Liberty basketball teams, as well as the marquee scholarships, the three Taylor’s Port Golden Vines Diversity Scholarships, each worth £55,000. Last year, the Foundation also made grants to 14 institutional and community partners globally, including disability students in New York, young black winemakers in South Africa, and indigenous peoples in Australia and Canada.
This year’s Golden Vines® Auction will feature 100+ Auction Lots. The Auction goes live for bidding on the 1st of October and will close at midnight CET on Sunday 16th of October after The Golden Vines® Awards Ceremony & Dinner at the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence. Anyone worldwide can bid, irrespective of whether they are attending The Golden Vines® Awards.
