My journey in the world of wine took me to places I never could have imagined before I began – figuratively and literally. I went on beautiful trips, I met interesting people and often challenged myself. What I realized, early on, was that pleasure grows when shared, whether it is a bottle of wine or knowledge itself, a knowledge that has no end. This is why even today I love to study and learn, just like when I first started out, but more so I love to share all I have learned with those who feel the same.

Stathis Saltas obtained the WSET Diploma in 2011 and has since been working in the wine industry. He has collaborated with entities such as Wines of Greece, Enterprise Greece and ΚΕΟΣΟΕ for the promotion of Greek wine in other countries. In 2012 he created a 56’ documentary entitled «Debra Meiburg meets the new wines of Greece» and in 2014 he became the project manager for the Chinese public television network production about Greek wine and its history.
He has created a series of corporate videos for Greek wine producers.

He is currently a senior tutor at WSPC, an APP of WSET in Greece, where he teaches wine lovers and professionals in the wine industry since 2012, the manager of the retail chain of Cava Athidis since 2017 and Oenotheque Manager of AMVYX since 2022.

Encounters the world of wine for the first time after studying at WSPC

Obtained the WSET Diploma and has since never stopped working in the wine industry.

Experience:

2012
Began working at WSPC as a tutor in the first levels and at the same time began his collaboration with various entities such as Wines of Greece, Enterprise Greece and ΚΕΟSΟΕ? for the promotion of Greek wine in other countries and creates a 56’ documentary entitled «Debra Meiburg meets the new wines of Greece» and in the following years creates a series of corporate videos for Greek wine producers.
2014
Became the project manager for the Chinese public television network production about Greek wine and its history in a series of 4 beautiful documentaries.
2017
Assumes the position of Retail Manager of the retail chain of Cava Anthidis where he remains to this day in parallel with his position as senior tutor at WSPC, WSET’s app in Greece where he educates wine lovers and professionals in the field.
2022
Assumes the position of Oenotheque Manager of the AMVYX.
