WSPC Sommelier Academy
To successfully complete the studies at the WSPC Sommelier Academy, students must complete the required Credits of each Stage. When students succeed in the exams of each Stage, the corresponding Certificate and Pin is given. Each Stage is accompanied by specific learning outcomes & learning objectives.
The WSPC Sommelier Academy offers Job Specific Education that relates directly to the HO.RE.CA market

Stage 1
Sommelier
To successfully complete Stage 1 of WSPC Sommelier Academy students are required to successfully complete seven (7) courses reaching 950 Credits.
Some of the “Mandatory Study” programs are completed by candidates without exams.
Students who may miss one or two courses, from the table, can complete them – by individual registration – and upon success you will be awarded the Sommelier Stage 1 Certificate along with the corresponding pin.

Stage 2
Sommelier
In Stage 2 of WSPC Sommelier Academy students are required to successfully complete four (4) courses, reaching 1.110 credits.
The teaching of the programs is completed in the first Semester, and the exams are completed in the following semester.
Students who may miss one or two courses, from the table, can complete them – by individual registration – and upon success you will be awarded the Sommelier Stage 2 Certificate along with the corresponding pin.

Stage 3
Sommelier
In Stage 3 of WSPC Sommelier Academy students are required to successfully complete four (4) courses, reaching 1.000 credits.
The Certified Exam of Master Sommelier the following day of the residential course of MS to Athens. The attendance of Cigar Sommelier is optional, doesn’t give any Credits, and will have additional fees.
Students who may miss one or two courses, from the table, can complete them – by individual registration – and upon success you will be awarded the Sommelier Stage 3 Certificate along with the corresponding pin.

Stage 4
Executive Sommelier
In Stage 4 of WSPC Sommelier Academy Sommeliers essentially choose a direction. We recommend, depending on whether a Sommelier wishes to continue as a Master Sommelier or SAKE Samurai or Master of Wine (after the WSET Diploma), respectively choose the courses that will frame the fourth stage of the studies.
To obtain the Executive Sommelier Certificate students are required to successfully complete three (3) courses, reaching 1.250 credits.
Two out of the three “Mandatory courses will occur after the student’s choice 1 (a,b,c) and 2 (a,b). The Master Sommelier Advanced Certificate will be held in Santorini every April. The exams will take place immediately after attending the Santorini residential course.
Students who may miss one or two courses, from the above table, can complete them – by individual registration – and upon their success will be awarded the Executive Sommelier Certificate along with the corresponding pin.
