WSET® COMBO Levels 2 & 3 in Wines (course in English)
- Level 2 (L2) is a twenty seven (27) hours course. This course covers a wide range of spirits and wines of the world. The course includes the major grape varieties, food & wine pairing, sparkling & fortified wines as well as major spirits tasting. The WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting Methodology according to different grape varieties and regions conveys to the student the typical model of each variety around the world. The course enables students to choose safely ‘labels’ from wine lists and catalogues and to prepare themselves for the L3 syllabus and SAT. Is a five consecutive days course/ 5 hours each day.
- Level 3 (L3) is a thirty eight (38) hours course. This course provide the knowledge of a wide range of wines and spirits applicable for upper level management posts. Factors that influence the style, quality and price of wines and spirits from major regions of the world are examined. The WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting Methodology provides the skills to the students so they are able not just to describe wine with accuracy but also provide an analysis for the origin, style, quality and price of wines. The course enables students to blindly recognize a wide range of wines. Is a seven consecutive days course/ 5 hours each day plus a 2,5 hour examination (L3 Examination). Start time: 16:30.
